She utilizes positive reinforcement methods that involve treats, toys and praise. Doribeth is highly skilled and experienced and knows how to get results.
The Pooch Professor makes training fun as well as consistent, but the number one secret to successful dog training is patience. Doribeth’s number one goal is to help dogs and their guardians to cohabitate peacefully with each other and even with other pets in the home so that no dog ever has to be sent to a shelter. Doribeth, herself, cohabitates peacefully with three to four dogs and two cats – five of the six being rescued animals.
